Remarks:
1. Only existing employees of Banks can write JAIIB Exam.
2. However, those other than Bank Employees can write Diploma in Banking and Finance Exam. (DBF Exams). If they pass DBF Exams, they will be issued JAIIB Examination certificate, after joining the banking Industry.
3. Syllabus & exam pattern for both JAIIB and DBF exams are same.
4. JAIIB /DBF Exams. are conducted in on-line mode.
5. Minimum marks for passing JAIIB / DBF (Diploma in Banking & Finance Exam) is 50 out of 100 marks in each subject or at least 45 marks in each subject with a total of 150 marks in all subjects put together in any single attempt.
6. Carry forward of marks in papers where candidates have qualified, is allowed upto 2 years (of 4 sessions consecutively).
7. JAIIB exams are not mandatory certifications. But they are useful to Bank employees in career Growth, Promotion and Salary Increment.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be NO Negative marking as penalty for wrong answer to a question.
Choose venue and time slot of own choice
The revamped registration module provides for candidate to choose venue and time slot of his/her choice for each subject as per their preference on first-cum-first-serve basis. Candidates are required to take utmost care and precaution in selecting Centre, Venue and Time slot, as there is no provision to change these in the system later. No request for change of centre, venue and time slot will be entertained by Institute for any reason.
Exam Fees (First Block of 2 attempts)
With effect from 1st July, 2017, Institute has switched over to GST regime from Service Tax. Thus, Institute now collect examination fee for each attempt separately. Therefore, candidates have to register for each attempt separately. The re-structured examination fees are as follows:
JAIIB – First attempt : Rs. 2,400 ; subsequent attempts (2nd, 3rd and 4th) : Rs. 1,000 for each attempt
DBF – First attempt : Rs. 3,200 ; subsequent attempts (2nd, 3rd and 4th) : Rs. 1,000 for each attempt
